SULTAN'S SALAD

Sultans salad i extremely best for all food occasions and even to ordinary servings as well. Preparing this perfect recipe is too easy and fast. With its accessible ingredients like Salad green, lemon, Bulgar and other enticing seasonings that enhance its delicious taste.

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Put the bulgar in a 7 cup dish. Toast, uncovered, on Full for 3 minutes, stirring every minute. Stir in the boiling water and salt.
  • Cover and allow to stand for 10 minutes or depending on the variety of bulgar used, until the grain is cooked completely but not over cooked.
  • Fluff up with a fork and eat hot or cold
  • Stir in the garlic, carrot, mint, parsley, lemon juice and oil.
  • Arrange on a plate lined with salad greens and stud with toasted almonds and green olives.

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 grams bulgar
  • 1 - 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1 tablespoon chopped mint leaves
  • 4 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Juice of 1 large lemon, strained
  • 3 tablespoons a mixture of both Salad greens
  • Toasted almonds and green olives, to garnish
