Preparation Method :

  • Pour the oil into a 6 cups bowl. Heat on Full for 20 - 30 seconds. Mix in the onions and curry powder. Cook, uncovered, on Full for 6 minutes, stirring twice.
  • Stir in the turkey. Cover with a plate and cook on Full for 6 - 8 minutes, stirring 4 times to keep the turkey crumbly.
  • Mix in all the remaining ingredients except the yoghurt. Cover as before and cook on Full for 4 minutes, stirring twice. Allow to stand for 5 minutes.
  • Spoon into split jacket potatoes and top each with thick yoghurt.


  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 150 ml canned coconut milk
  • 150 ml water      
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoon mild, medium or hot curry powder
  • 300 grams minced turkey
  • 2 tablespoons tomato puree  
  • 1 tablespoon fruit chutney
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons apple juice
  • 150 ml thick plain yoghurt
