The Crab Mornay dish is one of the most perfect dishes. It is perfect when you taste and you will not ask for. The feeling of its crunchiness was there. You can also make it at home and experience the well good taste. It gives you 30 minutes to serves that you will love!

Preparation Method :

  • Pour the milk into a glass or plastic jug and stir in the pickling spice, onion wedges, parsley and nutmeg.
  • Cover with a plate and heat for 5 minutes until the milk just begins to boil. Put the butter into a bowl and melt on Defrost for 2 minutes. Mix in the flour and cook for about 20 - 30 seconds.
  • Gradually blend in the warm milk. Cook for about 5 minutes, whisking every minute, until the sauce comes to the boil and thickens.
  • Season with salt and pepper and stir in the cheese and mustard. Cook until the cheese melts.
  • Stir in the crabmeat. Cover with a plate and reheat for about 2 minutes. Serve on freshly made toast.


  • 300 ml full-cream milk
  • 2 teaspoons mixed pickling spice
  • 1 small onion, cut into 8 wedges
  • 2 parsley sprigs
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 75 grams Gruyere (Swiss) cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspooncontinental mustard
  • 300 grams cooked light and dark crabmeat
