This seafood and walnut combo dish is perfect in different occasions. It is juicy and delicious in every bite. You can also experience the yumminess of its seafood that gives you nutrients. It is good for your diet. This dish will surely love by your kids. It is easy to prepare and serve!

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a casserole dish for about 2 minutes.
  • Add all the vegetables. Cook, uncovered for 5 minutes, stirring twice. Add the wine, spice, stock and tomatoes with all the fish and seafood.
  • Cover with clingfilm (plastic wrap) and slit it twice to allow steam to escape. Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Stir in all the remaining ingredients except the parsley. Cover as before and cook for 5 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with the parsley and serve straight away.


  • 3 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, thinly sliced
  • 1 red (bell) pepper, seeded and cut into strips
  • 1 green (bell) pepper, seeded and cut into strips
  • 1 small courgette (zucchini),thinly sliced
  • 250 ml white wine
  • A pinch of mixed spice
  • 300 ml fish or vegetable stock
  • 500 grams ripe tomatoes,blanched, skinned and chopped
  • 150 grams squid rings
  • 400 grams plaice or lemon sole fillet, cut into squares
  • 150 grams cooked mussels
  • 4 large cooked prawns (shrimp)
  • 50 grams walnut halves or pieces
  • 50 grams sultanas (golden raisins)
  • A dash of sherry
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
