Preparation Method :

  • Pour boiling water over the noodles and leave to stand for 5 minutes or according to packet instructions. Drain and keep warm.
  • Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan, add the pork, garlic, ginger and red chillies and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add the pineapple, rice vinegar and yellow bean sauce and stir-fry over a high heat until the sauce dries out slightly, about 1 minute.
  • Add the soy sauce and sugar to taste, then remove from the heat and sprinkle over the lemon juice.
  • Arrange the noodles on serving plates and top with the pork mixture. Serve immediately, garnished with the sliced spring onions.


  • 200 grams bean curd noodles
  • 3 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 500 grams boneless pork, cut into cubes
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 inch piece root ginger, shredded
  • 4 fresh red chillies, seeded and sliced
  • 100 grams pineapple, finely chopped
  • 5 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 5 tablespoon yellow bean sauce
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Pinch of sugar
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 spring onions, sliced, to garnish
