Preparation Method :

  • Heat 1 teaspoon oil with the butter in a small pan until melted and then stir in the eggs and keep stirring until scrambled. Set them aside.
  • Heat the remaining oil in a large pan and fry the garlic with the chicken and pork for 2 minutes or until the colour changes.
  • Add the prawns, spinach, celery and spring onions, toss well.
  • Add the drained noodles and toss well till all the ingredients are well mixed. Add enough stock just to moisten and soy sauces to taste. Stir in the beaten eggs.
  • Garnish the dish with Deep-fried Onions and celery leaves.


  • 150 grams, peeled, cooked prawns
  • 100 grams spinach or Chinese cabbage
  • 500 grams dried egg noodles, cooked and drained
  • 100 grams chicken breast fillets, skinned, finely sliced
  • 125 grams pork fillet, finely sliced
  • 75 ml Cooking oil
  • 20 grams butter or margarine
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 eggs, beaten, seasoned
  • 2 celery sticks, finely sliced
  • 4 scallions, shredded
  • 75 ml chicken stock
  • Dark soy sauce and light soy sauce
  • Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • Deep-fried Onions and celery leaves, to garnish
