SESAME CHINESE BHEL

Preparation Method :

  • Cut the cucumber, carrot, onion, tomato, capsicum into small strips.
  • Boil the noodles until slightly tender. Add a teaspoon of oil and salt to prevent noodles sticking from each other. Let it be half-cooked only. Avoid complete boil of noodles.
  • Filter it and Wash it with cold water.
  • Heat sesame oil and fry the noodles in batches until brown in colour and crisp in texture.
  • Remove from the oil and place it on the absorbent paper. (fried noodles can be stored and kept for 5-6 days)
  • While serving mash the noodles into tiny pieces. Add cucumber, onion, carrot, tomato and capsicum.
  • Now add vinegar, soya sauce, chilli sauce and tomato sauce. Salt and pepper is added as per taste.
  • Now mix it well and serve it immediately otherwise it will turn soggy. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 ml Sesame oil for frying the noodles
  • 150 grams noodles
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 carrot
  • ½ capsicum
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tomato
  • ½ teaspoon vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon soya sauce
  • ½ teaspoon chilli sauce
  • 1 teaspoon tomato sauce
  • Salt and pepper
