SPIRAL PASTA WITH BREADCRUMB SAUCE

15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Process 5 slices brown bread in a food processor for 30 seconds or until it forms fine crumbs.
  • Add spiral pasta or farfalle to a large pan of rapidly boiling water and cook until just tender.
  • Drain, keep warm. While pasta is cooking, heat ¼ cup olive oil in a large heavy-based frying pan over low heat.
  • Add breadcrumbs and 3 cloves crushed garlic and stir 3 minutes or until crisp and golden.
  • Combine hot pasta, breadcrumbs, finely chopped parsley and freshly grated pecorino cheese in a large serving bowl.
  • Add ground black pepper, to taste. Toss well and serve immediately. Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired. Then serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams spiral pasta  
  • 5 slices of Brown bread
  • 3 cloves garlic , crushed
  • 50 grams Cooking oil
  • 2 table spoons of parsley , chopped
  • 100 grams freshly grated pecorino cheese
  • Pepper, to taste
