Preparation Method :

  • Add Linguine to a large pan of rapidly boiling water and cook until just tender. Drain well. Return pasta to pan; keep warm.
  • While pasta is cooking, heat oil in a frying pan. Add garlic and stir over low heat for 1 minute.
  • Add tomatoes, capers and olives; cook for 4 minutes.
  • Add wine, parsley and pepper and stir. Bring to the boil; reduce heat and simmer for 7 minutes. Remove pan from heat.
  • Add anchovies to pan. Add sauce to warm pasta and toss to distribute sauce evenly through pasta. Serve immediately.


  • 500 grams linguine
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tomatoes, peeled and chopped (optional)
  • 50 grams cup capers
  • 100 grams chopped pitted black olives
  • 50 grams chopped pitted green olives
  • 50 grams dry white wine
  • 50 grams chopped fresh parsley or basil
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 100 grams can anchovies, drained and chopped
