Preparation Method :

  • Peel and coarsely chop the tomatoes. Put the tomatoes, garlic, herbs and oil in a blender and blend to a puree.
  • Heat the sauce gently in a pan to boiling point, then add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Meanwhile cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until tender but still firm to the bite - 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Drain well and toss immediately with the sauce. 


  • 4 large ripe tomatoes 
  • 2 clove garlic, crushed 
  • 4 tablespoons chopped parsley 
  • 16 basil leaves, chopped 
  • 4 tablespoons Cooking oil 
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper 
  • 500 gram spaghetti or vermicelli
