Preparation Method :
- Mix the flour, salt and yeast in a bowl, then add the oil and water. Stir to form a soft dough.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic.
- Place back in the bowl, cover and leave in a warm place for an hour.
- Once the dough has risen, flour your hands and the work surface.
- Knead the dough until smooth. Stretch into shape and roll thinly into two circles, 15 cm across.
- Pinch up the edges of the dough. Grease the baking sheets.
- Place the bases on the sheets and leave them to rise while you make the topping.
- Preheat the oven. Drain the tomatoes and put into a bowl with the tomato puree and oregano. Mix and season,
- Spread half the mixture over each base. Arrange the ham, cheese, pepper and mushrooms on top. Brush over the olive oil.
- Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the crusts are pale golden and firm.
- Remove from the oven and serve.
INGREDIENTS
Base
- 300 grams strong white flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoon easy-blend yeast
- 2 tablespoon cooking oil
- 200 ml warm water
- 4 tablespoon flour for dusting
Topping
- 500 grams canned chopped tomatoes
- 4 tablespoon tomato puree
- 4 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper
- 4 slices of ham, torn into bite-sized pieces
- 200 grams mozzarella cheese, torn into bite-sized pieces
- 2 yellow pepper, sliced
- 6 button mushrooms, sliced
- 4 tablespoon olive oil
