PORK CHOPS WITH PEPPERCORNS

Serves :
4

Preparation Time :
45 minutes

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Season the chops with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the chops for about 10 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Transfer to a warmed serving plate and keep warm.
  • Pour off any excess fat from the pan. Add the peppercorns and fry for a few seconds, and then add the mustard and cream.
  • Stir well to pick up the brown sediment on the bottom of the pan, and continue cooking gently until the sauce thickens.
  • Add salt to taste and spoon the sauce over the pork.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve with French fries and whole green beans.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 pork chops
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 2 tablespoon oil 

SAUCE

  • 4 teaspoons canned green peppercorns, drained
  • 4 teaspoons Dijon mustard 
  • 250 ml single cream chopped parsley to garnish
