Preparation Method :

  • Grind the paste to form a green masala.
  • Wash the pork well with salt and vinegar. After washing out the vinegar and salt. Marinate again with salt and turmeric and keep aside.
  • Mix the pork roughly with ground green masala and  dry masala powder.
  • Preparation: Pressurecook the masala mixed pork with water for 15 minutes
  • When the pork is cooked well, add Kachampuli or tamarind pulp. Add salt to taste and stir fry till the gravy reduces and thickens and the oil rises to the top. 


  • 2 kilogram pork, cut into medium size pieces
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 200 ml vinegar

For the dry masala

  • 200 grams coriander seeds
  • 2 tablespoon cumin seed
  • 2 tablespoon black pepper
  • 2 cinnamon stick
  • 5 cloves
  • 4 cardamoms
  • 6 dry red chillies
  • 2 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
  • 4 teaspoon raw rice
  • 2 tablespoon poppy seeds

For the curry masala  

  • 2 large piece of ginger
  • 2 large onions
  • 15 cloves of garlic
  • 2 medium bunch coriander leaves
  • 8 green chillies
  • Kachampuli or tamarind pulp
  • Salt to taste
