Preparation Method :

  • Put the breadcrumbs into a large bowl; add the milk and leave to soak for a few minutes.
  • Add the pork, sage, onion, egg, salt and a good grinding of pepper and mix lightly. With floured hands, shape the mixture into 2 large or 4 small burgers.
  • Grill (broil) the pork burgers under a high heat for about 5 minutes on each side.
  • When the first side is done, brush the pineapple slices with a mixture of the mustard and butter and cook for about 2 minutes on each side while the pork burgers finish cooking.
  • Serve the burgers in baps or with sauté potatoes and mixed salad.


  • 30 grams fresh white breadcrumbs 
  • 8 tablespoons milk
  • 700 grams minced pork 
  • 2 teaspoon chopped fresh or ½ teaspoon dried sage
  • 2 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 egg, beaten
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 4 canned pineapple rings, drained 
  • 2 teaspoon French mustard
  • 30 grams butter, melted
