Preparation Method :

  • Mix the pork with the sherry, soy sauce and corn flour (cornstarch).
  • Heat the oil in a pan. Add the meat mixture and stir-fry until brown. Add the spring onions (scallions), bean sprouts and salt and stir-fry for 1 minute.
  • Add the water. Bring to the boil, cover and cook for 15 minutes or until the meat and bean sprouts are tender.
  • Serve hot with noodles. 


  • 700 grams minced pork 
  • 2 tablespoon dry sherry
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon corn flour
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 4 spring onions, chopped 
  • 500 grams fresh bean sprouts, rinsed, drained and chopped
  • 2 teaspoon salt 
  • 500 ml water
