Preparation Method :

  • Mix the dry sherry and soy sauce with half of the cornflour. Add the pork and toss to coat well.
  • Heat the sunflower oil in a wok and stir-fry the pork until it is lightly browned.
  • Add the baby corn cobs with salt and stir-fry for about half a minute.
  • Add the mangetout and mushrooms and stir-fry for a minute. Sprinkle in the sugar.
  • Mix the remaining cornflour with the water to make a smooth thin paste and add it to the corn mixture.
  • Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce is thickened. Transfer to a warmed serving dish and serve immediately.


  • 500 grams pork fillet, thinly sliced
  • 450 grams 1 can straw mushrooms, drained
  • 500 grams baby corn cobs
  • 3 teaspoon dry sherry
  • 2 teaspoons cornflour
  • 3 teaspoon IDHAYAM Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 50 grams mangetout
  • 3 teaspoon light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water
