Preparation Method :

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C/gas 4). Mix the apples, golden raisins, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Spread each pork slice with the plum sauce.
  • Place a small amount of the apple mixture in the centre. Roll up and tie with kitchen string. Place the pork rolls in a baking dish seam-side down.
  • Mix the apple juice, soy sauce, and honey in a small bowl and pour over the pork. Cover with aluminium foil. Bake until tender, 20 minutes. Serve hot with the snow peas.


  • 4 apples, peeled, cored, and coarsely chopped
  • 100 grams golden raisins (sultanas)
  • Freshly squeezed juice of ½ lemon
  • 2 kg pork tenderloin, cut into thick slices
  • 150 ml Chinese plum sauce
  • 150 ml apple juice
  • 2 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • Steamed snow peas (mangetout), to serve
