Preparation Method :

  • Peel and cut potatoes into 4 roundels each. Finely cut each roundel lengthwise.
  • Preheat oil in a small frying pan over high heat.
  • Deep-fry the potatoes in 2 batches till they are crisp.
  • Transfer to a kitchen paper to remove excess oil.
  • In the remaining oil fry peanuts till they turn color. Transfer to the kitchen paper to remove excess oil.
  • Mix together fried potatoes, peanuts, green chilies, salt and lemon juice.


  • 4 large sized potatoes 
  • 4 chopped green chilies 
  • 400 ml peanut oil
  • 200 grams peanuts 
  • Salt
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
