BELGIAN WARM SALAD

Preparation Method :

  • Combine French beans and sliced potatoes in a salad bowl.
  • Pour bacon dressing over and toss gently until well mixed, take care not to break up potato slices. Serve immediately.
  • Dressing: Heat the butter and sauté bacon strips and onion until lightly golden.
  • Reduce heat and pour in wine vinegar. Simmer to low flame for about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper.

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 grams, potatoes, washed, boiled, drained, cut into thick slices and keep warm
  • 250 grams streaky bacon, cut into fine strips
  • 320 grams french beans, washed, cut into batons, cooked, drained and keep warm
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 Spanish onion, peeled and finely chopped
  • 50 ml white wine vinegar
  • Ground black pepper and Salt to taste
