Preparation Method :

  • Toss potatoes gently with vinegar. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Combine sour cream with mayonnaise, curry powder and lemon juice. Mix well.
  • Add apples, celery and bacon to potatoes. Pour sour cream and curry mixture, toss gently and take care not to break up the potatoes.
  • Spoon the salad into a serving dish. Chill at least an hour before serving.


  • 500 grams potatoes, scrubbed, unpeeled, boiled, drained, peeled and cut into thick slices
  • 50 grams rashers bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 5 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon cider vinegar    
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • 100 ml, sour cream        
  • Curry powder, to taste    
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice    
  • 2 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • Ground black pepper and salt to taste
