Preparation Method :

  • Peel and mash the potatoes.
  • Add onion, green chilies, coriander leaves and salt.
  • Beat the eggs properly. Add salt and pepper.
  • Cut each bread slice into 2 rectangular pieces.
  • Stuff equal portions of potatoes in between.
  • Preheat oil in a small frying pan over high heat.
  • Dip each stuffed bread into the egg batter and deep fry one at a time till the potato toast is crisp and brown.


  • 4 boiled potatoes
  • 2 small, finely chopped onion 
  • 4 finely chopped green chili 
  • 200 grams chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 boiled eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 bread slices
  • 300 ml peanut oil

    Hi, under ingredients section there is a correction, i think it should be 4 raw eggs instead of 4 boiled eggs.
