Preparation Method :

  • Peel and mash the potatoes.
  • Add green chilies, garlic, salt and lemon juice. Mix well.
  • Divide into 5 equal portions and make balls. Press between palms to shape into round cutlets.
  • Dip the cutlets in honey. Roll in breadcrumbs.
  • Preheat a griddle over high heat. Sprinkle half the oil.
  • Cook the cutlets over medium heat till the underside turns golden brown.
  • Turn to the other side, add remaining oil and cook till the other side turns golden brown too.


  • 8 boiled potatoes
  • 6 chopped green chilies
  • 15 garlic cloves, minced 
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 lemon 
  • 500 ml honey
  • 300 grams breadcrumbs
  • 8 tablespoons peanut oil
