Preparation Method :

  • Peel and mash the potatoes.
  • Preheat 3 tablespoons oil in a small frying pan over high heat. Add onion and fry till they get transparent.
  • Add green peas and fry till they get tender.
  • Add potatoes, salt and pepper. Fry for 5 minutes. Remove from fire. Divide into 4 equal portions
  • Take 500 ml water in a bowl. Dip 1 slice of bread. Remove immediately. Press lightly between palms to drain away water.
  • Put a portion of fried potatoes in between. Enfold and seal the edges. Give it round or oval shape. Repeat process for rest of the breads and potato.
  • Preheat oil over high heat in the frying pan. Deep fry the bread chops till golden brown.


  • 4 boiled potatoes
  • 300 ml IDHAYAM MANTRA peanut oil
  • 2 chopped onion
  • 300 grams green peas
  • Salt to taste 
  • 6 bread slices
  • Pepper to taste
