STUFFED CUTLET

Preparation Method :

  • Peel and mash the potatoes.
  • Preheat 3 tablespoons oil in a small frying pan over high heat. Add the onion and fry till they get transparent.
  • Add green peas and fry till they get tender.
  • Add potatoes, salt and pepper. Fry for 5 minutes. Remove from fire. Divide into 4 equal portions.
  • Cut each bread slice into 2 pieces.
  • Stuff each portion of fried potatoes between two pieces of bread.
  • Add salt and turmeric powder to the gram flour. Make batter using water.
  • Preheat oil in a small frying pan over high heat. Dip one of the stuffed bread cutlets in the gram flour batter.
  • Deep fry till golden brown.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 boiled potatoes
  • 500 ml peanut oil
  • 2 onion, chopped
  • 200 grams green peas
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 6 bread slices
  • 250 grams flour 
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 
  • Water
