Croquettes are always popular. These are very tasty, very easy and also use up not only the turkey, but all those walnuts that no-one had room for after Christmas lunch.
Serves :

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Chop the turkey meat finely
  • Mix thoroughly with the stuffing and the crumbled walnut pieces, then bind with the beaten egg.
  • Shape into little fat sausages about 2 x 1 in, roll in the flour and shallow fry gently for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally until brown on all sides.
  • Serve with crisp green cabbage.


  • 250 gram cooked turkey
  • 4 tablespoons leftover stuffing
  • 100 gram shelled walnuts
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 50 ml Cooking oil
