Preparation Method :

  • Mix the sugar and cornflower in a pan. Stir in the fruit syrup, and cook until thick.
  • Then add the lemon juice and crushed fruit.
  • Serve hot or cold on pancakes, plain cakes, ice creams, custards, or puddings.


  • 75 grams sugar
  • 2 tablespoon cornflower/cornstarch
  • 400 ml fruit syrup, of the canned fruit
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 150 grams canned fruit, drained, crushed
