Preparation Method :

  • Add the berries in a small saucepan with half of the water, sugar, and the lemon juice; simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Then press the mixture through a fine sieve.
  • Put the mixture into a clean saucepan; cook and thicken with cornflower dissolved in remaining cold water.
  • Serve chilled with crepes or pancakes.


  • 220 grams fresh raspberries or strawberries, rinsed
  • 50 ml water
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon arrowroot or cornflower
