PEANUT SAUCE

Makes :
500 ml

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a saucepan and gently fry the onion and green pepper for 10 minutes. Add the garlic and tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes more, stirring occasionally.
  • Liquidise in a blender with the nuts, salt and pepper.
  • Return to the pan, add the milk and simmer, uncovered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in the tamari just before serving. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoon groundnut oil
  • 2 onions, chopped finely
  • 2 green pepper, chopped finely
  • 2 garlic clove, chopped finely
  • 200 grams tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 100 grams finely chopped peanuts
  • 1 teaspoon salt pepper
  • 200 ml milk
  • 4 teaspoon tamari
