HADDOCK IN TOMATO SAUCE

Don’t hesitate in looking for new recipes to smash off your cravings! With Haddock in Tomato Sauce- you can instantly fall in love with this dish! Just as it’s healthy and nutritious, you could basically afford to pay for its ingredients!

Preparation Method :

  • Cut the fish into 4 pieces, and then place in a lightly oiled shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with the salt and pepper, then chili for 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan. Add the onion, green pepper, celery and garlic and fry gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and continue cooking gently for 10 minutes, stirring well.
  • Work the mixture through a sieve, taste and adjust the seasoning, then pour over the fish. Bake in a preheated moderate oven for 45 minutes or until the fish is cooked.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg haddock fillets 
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Tomato sauce

  • 2 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 2 onion, peeled and finely chopped 
  • 2 green pepper, cored, deseeded and finely chopped 
  • 4 celery stalks, finely chopped 
  • 2 clove garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 2 teaspoon chili powder 
  • 2 bay leaves 
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 
  • 1 kg tomatoes
