THAI FISH IN RED SAUCE

The Thai fish in red sauce is perfectly suited for all occasions. You can easily have this menu even without spending a lot of time and money. Its main ingredients comprise tomatoes, fish fillets, fresh coriander leaves, fish fillets and other special seasonings.

30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion over a moderate heat until soft and golden brown. Add the tomatoes, vinegar, salt, pepper and chili.
  • Cover the pan and simmer for 20 minutes, or until tomatoes form a pulp and sauce is thick.
  • Add the fish fillets, spooning some of the sauce over. Cover and cook until the fish is done-the flesh will be opaque.
  • The fish will be ready in only a short cooking time, so be careful not to overcook.
  • Serve hot with steamed rice and garnished with coriander leaves.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 4 ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 fresh red chilies, seeded and chopped
  • 750 grams fish fillets
  • 4 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
