Preparation Method :

  • Combine all ingredients except rice flour and oil. Marinate the prawns in the mixture for an hour.
  • Heat the oil in a pan, add the prawns along with the marinade and fry for about 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle rice flour and continue tossing in oil for a few more minutes. Serve hot with rotis.


  • 350 grams Fresh prawns, shelled, deveined washed and drained 
  • 75 ml IDHAYAM Sesame Oil
  • 90 grams Tomato ketchup 
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds powdered
  • 1 tablespoon Rice flour
  • Chilli powder and salt, to taste
