Preparation Method :

  • Season the flour with salt and pepper.
  • Toast the bread slices and make sure to butter them when warm.
  • Dust the fish fillets with the seasoned flour and deep fry in hot oil till golden on both sides. Remove from heat, drain and set aside.
  • Combine the mayonnaise with the lemon juice. Put a fish fillet on each toast, garnish with mayonnaise and serve.


  • 4 Fish fillets, washed and drained
  • 4 Bread slices, crusts removed
  • 1 teaspoon Flour
  • ½ teaspoon Lemon juice    
  • 1 tablespoon Butter    
  • 2 tablespoon Mayonnaise    
  • Cooking oil to fry
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
