SMOKED COD'S ROE MOUSSE

The Smoked Cod’s Roe Mousse is a recipe that is mainly contained of complete nutrition scheme. You can prepare this dish for about one hour. This recipe can also serve for eight persons, so it can make a big family happy in just one service.

Preparation Method :

  • Put the cod's roc into a blender or food processor with the cottage cheese, lemon rind, salt and pepper to taste and the olive oil; blend until smooth.
  • Separate the yolks from the whites of the hard- boiled eggs; add the yolks to the cod's roe mixture and blend until smooth.
  • Chop the egg whites finely; stir into the cod's roe mixture, along with the parsley. Cover and chill for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Serve on small plates in neat scoops, accompanied by fingers of warm whole wheat toast.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams smoked cod's roe, skinned 
  • 100 grams cottage cheese 
  • Finely grated rind of 1 lemon 
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil 
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs, shelled 
  • 2 tablespoon coarsely chopped parsley
