MARINATED KIPPERS

Marinated Kippers is a special and healthy dish that you should prepare with the whole family! It can be served for a maximum of eight people! So there’s no need to worry if it can’t feed the entire members of your family! It’s important to consider its ingredients; black peppercorns, kipper fillets, onion, vegetable oil and cider vinegar!

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Skin the kipper fillets and place in a shallow earthenware or china dish with the onion, pepper corns and bay leaves.
  • Spoon over the oil and vinegar, then cover and leave to marinate for 24 hours, turning once or twice.
  • Serve with salad and crusty whole meal bread. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 15 kipper fillets, fresh or frozen and thawed 
  • 2 onion, peeled and very thinly sliced 
  • 15 black peppercorns 
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 16 tablespoons Cooking oil
  • 4 tablespoons cider vinegar
