MONK'S MACKEREL

Monk’s Mackerel can be one of your favorites because of its splendid ingredients! These are medium mackerel, bay leaves, onions, black olives, mixed herbs, salt and ground black pepper! There’s so much more to expect from this dish to satisfy your mouth and stomach!

Preparation Time :
30 minutes

Cooking Time :
45 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Place the mackerel in a non-stick baking dish and cover with the onions, bay leaves, lemon juice, herbs and stoned olives. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cover with foil and bake in a preheated moderate oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until the fish is cooked.
  • Serve hot, garnished with the watercress sprigs and lemon wedges.
  • Serve. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 medium mackerel, cleaned
  • 4 onions, peeled and chopped
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 8 tablespoons lemon juice 
  • 4 teaspoons dried mixed herbs
  • 20 black olives, stoned 
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Garnish

  • Watercress sprigs
  • Lemon wedges
