BUTTERMILK FISH

Preparation Time :

30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat ghee in a pan and fry the fish pieces in small batches till golden brown on all sides. Drain and keep aside.
  • Bring the buttermilk to a boil and when it starts simmering add the fish, salt and turmeric powder. Cook for about 20-22 minutes.
  • Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams Fish, cleaned, cut into pieces, rinsed and drained
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 500 ml Buttermilk    
  • Ghee as required
  • Salt to taste
