Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a pan and deep fry the whole fish till golden brown on both sides. Remove, drain and transfer onto a serving dish.
  • In a clean pan, stir fry the sliced vegetables along with the bean sprouts for 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the vinegar, soya sauce, sugar, salt and the cornflour mixture. Blend well and cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Pour this sauce over the fish and serve at once.


  • 750 grams Fish, cleaned, rinsed, drained, incised and coat the fish with flour    
  • 145 grams Bean sprouts
  • 4 teaspoon Vinegar
  • 50 grams Flour
  • 150 grams Onions thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Rice wine
  • 1 Capsicum sliced
  • 2 Bamboo shoots thinly sliced
  • 5-7 Mushrooms thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Cornflour, mixed with little water
  • 1 teaspoon Soya sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking oil as required
