Preparation Method :

  • Double boil the gelatine and stir on a low flame until it dissolves.
  • Add the tomato juice, lemon juice, seasoning and stir well. Leave to cool till semi-set. Add the fish, pour into a greased mould and leave to set completely.
  • Arrange lettuce leaves on a serving platter and turn out the jelly on them.


  • 250 grams Fish, cleaned, rinsed, boiled and flaked    
  • 250 ml Tomato juice, hot
  • 1½ teaspoon Gelatine, soaked in 100 ml hot water     
  • 3 teaspoon Lemon juice    
  • Salt, to taste    
  • Lettuce leaves to serve
