Chinese Plaice is the perfect dish to serve with your visitors! This is not only the grandest dish ever, but the healthiest from all foods you’ve tried! It contains plaice fillets, apple juice and soy sauce but much with its stuffing and garnishing ingredients! It’s made completely with diamonds of red pepper or chervil leaves!

45 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oven. In a bowl, blend together the stuffing ingredients.
  • Remove any dark skin from the plaice and lay all the fillets, flesh side down, on a board.
  • Divide the stuffing between them and roll up. Secure with cocktail sticks.
  • Place them in a shallow, greased ovenproof dish, packing close together.
  • Mix together the apple juice and soy sauce and pour over the plaice. Cover the dish with foil and cook in the oven for 30 minutes.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chervil leaves and red pepper diamonds.
  • Serve hot.


  • 16 medium plaice fillets 
  • 6 tablespoons apple juice
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce


  • 150 grams fresh whole meal breadcrumbs
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 2 small onion, peeled and grated 
  • 100 grams ground almonds 
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger 
  • 6 tablespoons apple juice 
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Freshly ground black pepper


  • Chervil leaves
  • Diamonds of red pepper
