The Trout with Herbs is another healthy recipe that you can prepare on your lunch and dinner. With the unique taste of herbs, the recipe becomes more delicious and high class just like the one that is being offered in the sophisticated restaurant.

45 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Mix together the flour, salt and pepper and use to coat the trout. Heat the oil in a heavy trying pan, add the fish and fry for 10 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Place on a warmed serving dish and keep hot.
  • Wipe the frying pan with kitchen paper. Add the margarine and cook until golden.
  • Quickly add the lemon juice, herbs, and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Pour over the trout and serve immediately.


  • 8 tablespoons whole meal flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper 
  • 8 trout, cleaned
  • 6 tablespoons Cooking oil


  • 50 grams margarine
  • Juice of 1 lemon 
  • 2 tablespoon chopped mixed herbs 
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
