BROILED TUNA AND VEGETABLE KABOBS

Preparation Method :

  • Preheat the broiler to high.
  • Divide the fish and vegetables evenly among 9 pre-soaked wooden skewers and arrange on the broiler pan.
  • Mix the oregano and oil together in a small bowl. Adjust seasoning with pepper.
  • Lightly brush the kebabs with the oil and cook under the preheated broiler for about 10 minutes or until evenly cooked, turning occasionally.
  • Cook them in batches, make sure to keep the cooked kebabs warm while cooking the remainder.
  • Garnish with lime wedges and serve with salads or bread.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 red bell pepper, seeded and diced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, seeded and diced
  • 1 zucchini, sliced
  • 150 grams tuna steaks, Cut into medium pieces.
  • 100 grams red onions, Peeled and cut each onion lengthwise into 6 wedges, leaving the root intact.
  • 10 - 12 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
  • 5 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges, to serve
