Preparation Method :

  • Marinate prawns in garlic and chili pastes, vinegar and salt for 2 hours.
  • Mix in corn flour. Skewer prawns and roast on low flame, basting with oil, till crisp and golden on all sides. Coat with poppy seeds and serve hot.


  • 1 kg Prawns , shelled, deveined
  • 1 tablespoon Poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon Corn flour   
  • 2 teaspoon Green chilli paste
  • 2 tablespoon Vinegar  
  • Salt to taste
  • IDHAYAM sesame oil for basting
