Preparation Method :

  • Mix the mashed fish with all the ingredients except egg whites and oil.
  • Divide into 12 equal portions and shape each into kababs. Dip in the egg whites and shallow fry in hot oil till golden brown on both sides.
  • Serve hot with green chutney.


  • 500 grams Fish, steamed, skinned, deboned and mashed
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • Vinegar to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Minced Green chillies, to taste
  • ½ " piece Ginger, minced
  • 6 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 Egg whites, well beaten
  • Cooking oil to shallow fry
