PRAWNS AND GINGER

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a wok and stir-fry the prawns for 5 minutes. Set the prawns aside.
  • Reheat the oil and add the ginger and garlic. Stir quickly, then add the onions, leek and peas. Stir-fry for 5 minutes.
  • Add the bean sprouts and prawns to the cooked vegetables. Stir in the soy sauce, sugar and salt and cook for 2 minutes. Serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil            
  • 1 kg peeled prawns
  • 1-inch piece fresh root ginger, peeled and finely chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic, peeled and finely chopped
  • 5 spring onions, chopped
  • 2 leek, white part only, cut into strips
  • 200 grams peas, shelled
  • 200 grams bean sprouts
  • 4 tablespoons dark soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon sugar
  • Pinch salt
