Preparation Method :

  • Heat oil in a wok or pan. Add cardamoms, curry leaves, green chillies, ginger and garlic. Stir-fry for a minute. Add onions and sauté for 2 minutes or until transparent.
  • Stir in turmeric, fish fillets and coconut milk and cook for about 20 minutes.
  • Adjust Seasoning. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes or until the fish is cooked.
  • Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.


  • 500 grams Fish fillets
  • 3 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 2 teaspoon Ginger, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic, chopped
  • 100 grams Onions, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 500 ml Coconut milk
  • 6 Green cardamoms  
  • 2 Curry leaves  
  • 4 Green chillies, slit
  • Salt to taste
