TOMATO FISH

Preparation Method :

  • Marinate the fish cubes with turmeric powder, lemon juice and salt to taste. Set aside.
  • Add onions and saute till transparent. Stir in red chilli powder, sugar, garam masala, coriander powder. Cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add tomatoes, sour cream and green chillies. Bring to a boil, stirring continuously.
  • Add the fried fish cubes to the sauce and coat evenly. Simmer for 10 minutes or until the fish is cooked.
  • Serve hot, accompanied by any Indian bread.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg Fish fillets , deboned, cubed
  • 400 grams Tomatoes, blanched, deseeded, chopped  
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric  powder
  • 50 ml cooking oil
  • 2 Onions (medium), sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
  • 2 tablespoon Sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 4 Green chillies, slit in half, deseeded
  • Salt to taste
