PRAWN RUBAHI

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a pan and fry the chopped onions gently. Add the ground spicy paste, prawns, salt and cook till done. Serve sprinkled with the fried onion.

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams Prawns, shelled, deveined, rinsed and drained
  • 1 Onion, chopped and fried
  • 150 grams Onions finely chopped
  • 50 ml Cooking oil
  • Salt to taste

Grind to a fine paste

  • 1 tablespoon Coriander seeds, fried 
  • ½ teaspoon Cumin seeds, fried in little oil 
  • 250 grams Coconut
  • 16 Red chillies, fried in little oil
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • Pinch of Fenugreek seeds, fried 
  • ¼ teaspoon Ajwain, fried in little oil
  • 6 Peppercorns, fried in little oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic 
  • Small ball Tamarind
