SAUCED PRAWNS

Preparation Method :

  • Marinate the prawns in lemon juice and seasoning for two hours. Grease a casserole dish and lay the prawns in it.
  • Add milk to the ground mixture and blend well. Add the cheese and seasoning, pour the mixture over the prawns.
  • Sprinkle with bread crumbs and dot with butter. Bake in a hot oven for about 15-20 minutes 190°C / 350°F / Gas mark 5.
  • Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 750 grams Large prawns, shelled, deveined, washed and drained
  • 150 ml Milk
  • 50 grams Cheese grated
  • 50 grams Bread crumbs 
  • 3 tablespoon Butter 
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice 
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon, powdered
  • ½ teaspoon Cloves, powdered 
  • Pepper and salt to taste
  • Soaked and Ground to Paste
  • 1 tablespoon Poppy seeds
  • 150 grams Peanuts
