Preparation Method :

  • Beat the egg whites till stiff and set aside.
  • Add onions, chillies, coriander leaves and yolks to the mashed fish and mix well.
  • Fold in the egg whites gently. Adjust seasoning with salt.
  • Spoon the fish mixture on each bread square and deep fry in hot oil till golden and crisp. Serve piping hot.


  • 500 grams Fish, cleaned, sliced, boiled, deboned and mashed
  • 25 grams coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 150 grams Onions, finely chopped
  • 8-9 Green chillies, finely chopped
  • 4 Eggs (separated)
  • 8 Bread slices, cut each into equal squares
  • Cooking oil to deep fry
  • Salt to taste
