Preparation Method :

  • Bring the fish to a boil along with water, onion, tomatoes, powdered spices and salt.
  • Take the fish out from the stock, remove the bones and skin. Return to the stock and simmer for few more minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve piping hot.


  • 1 kg Pomfret, cleaned, sliced, washed
  • 4 Tomatoes blanched and pureed
  • 1 Onion finely chopped     
  • ΒΌ teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • 4 Cloves powdered
  • Pepper and salt to taste
  • Chopped Coriander leaves to garnish
